Guimaras was once a sub-province of Iloilo. It is an
island located in the Western Visayas region of the
Philippines but is now an separate province. Its
capital is Jordan. Guimaras boast of beautiful white
sand beaches ideal for water sports like
windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet ski and
alike. Tourist can also do whale and shark watching
in Donsol. Interesting places to visit are:
Buenavista Wharf, Punta Blanco & Camp Jossman, Isla
Naburot, Sunrise Beach, Bala-an Bukid Shrine,
Trappist Monastery, Catilaran Cave, Natagong Beach
