Rizal Province

Rizal province is located adjacent to Metro Manila on the east. The province comprises Antipolo City and 13 municipalities. In 1975, a big part or Rizal (12 towns including Pasig) was carved out of the province and were made part of Metro Manila. Local and foreign tourist visit Rizal for its churches, old ancestral houses and scenic places. Interesting places to see are: The churches of Morong, Tanay, Baras and Antipolo's Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. Rizal also host the shrine of the late national artist Vicente Manansala in Binangonan.
